There could be several reasons why you are facing issues connecting to your WiFi network even after installing the REALTEK 11n USB Wireless LAN Driver and Utility. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Make sure you have entered the correct password for your WiFi network. Double-check and ensure there are no typos.
Restart your computer and try connecting again.
Ensure that your WiFi adapter is enabled. You may need to check your computer's network settings to make sure it is enabled.
If you can, try connecting to a different WiFi network to see if the issue is specific to your network or the driver.
Update the REALTEK driver to the latest version available from their website.
Reset your WiFi router by powering it off and on again.
If none of the above steps work, try contacting REALTEK support for further assistance.
When you're using a wireless network, you can connect with a username and password to the network, but it depends if that access point is connected to the Internet or not. After you're connected to the network, type in the gateway address in the browser bar and load the administration area of the router then click WAN and check the connection info. It might be possible to have to reconfigure the Internet connection settings.
Recently I bought the netis AC1200 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter model WF2190 on Amazon after reading the extensive recommendations. It came with a driver CD containing an older version of the REALTEK 11n USB Wireless LAN utility as the driver from 2013. I installed the driver and plugged in the USB adapter according to the manual. After restarting, my PC recognized the adapter, the control light on the adapter starts blinking, and the driver loaded normally, but when attempting to set up a profile or search for networks, the driver starts and keeps on refreshing and occasionally freezes and comes back to life. When I stop the driver and start it again, it would just keep on refreshing every 2 seconds so that I cannot click on anything. I believed it to be a driver issue and found a more recent version on the Netis website (Version 700.1677.122.2014). After erasing the older driver, installing the latest version from the website and restarting my pc, I am still having the same issue, i.e. constant refreshing of the driver without the option of clicking onto anything. My PC is running on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I would be glad to get help so I can use the WLAN adapter properly.

I have checked all the website, but it redirects me to the same driver page at Netis. I would recommend trying again to install the device, but if it gives you the same error over and over again, then use their support page. It's possible that the products needs RMA (Return to Manufacturer) or replace from the seller due to hardware failures.
I bought this today, but when I tried to install it in Windows 7 Ultimate, it's not working. So I think that it's not compatible. What is the best thing to do so that I can use this with my Windows 7 Ultimate operating system?

You will need to look for the model number and technology used on the back of the product box, then browse to the Realtek Support website and download the drivers. I can assure you that the drivers are now Windows 7 compatible.
Use the following path to look for drivers: Communications Network ICs > Wireless LAN ICs> WLAN NIC> Products.
I installed it on an old laptop. I can connect to eBay or YouTube, but I can't connect to HotMail or Facebook. What can I do?

Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options and disable all the restrictions from the Connections tab. Also, make sure that you don't have any Parental Controls, Family Safety, or some other similar software enabled. If it doesn't work, try to connect using a different browser and clear all cache, cookies and temporary files. Another solution is to restart your modem or router. If you still can't connect, press Windows + R key combination, type cmd and click OK. Type ipconfig /flushdns, press Enter and close Command Prompt after the process is completed. Check the Microsoft Support page for further solutions.

If that icon appears after you installed REALTEK 11n USB Wireless LAN Driver and Utility, you don't have to worry, because after installation the icon of this application will always stay on your toolbar. Therefore, I guaranty you that is not a virus.
